Social & Labor Convergence Program – SLCP

SLCP – The Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) verification is a standardized, multi-stakeholder initiative designed to improve social and labor conditions in global supply chains by replacing the need for repetitive, proprietary social audits. The SLCP process is built around its Converged Assessment Framework (CAF), which consists of three main stages. 1. Data Collection (Self/Joint Assessment): A facility (e.g., a factory) completes a self-assessment using the SLCP’s data collection tool. 2. Data Verification: Once the self-assessment is complete, the facility selects an accredited, independent Verifier Body. An SLCP-approved verifier then conducts a verification to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data submitted by the facility.3. Data Sharing: After the data is verified, it is uploaded to a secure platform. The facility owns its data and can choose to share the verified report with multiple business partners, such as brands and retailers.
