Amfori – BSCI: The Amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) audit is a widely used social audit program designed to improve working conditions and promote ethical business practices in global supply chains. The primary goal of an Amfori BSCI audit is to help companies, particularly Amfori members, assess the social performance of their suppliers against the Amfori BSCI Code of Conduct. Instead of being a pass/fail certification, the audit provides a grade (from A to E) and a detailed report that identifies areas of non-compliance and allows for a continuous improvement process. The audit results are shared on the Amfori Sustainability Platform, which enables other Amfori members to see a supplier’s performance, reducing the need for multiple, redundant audits and addressing ‘audit fatigue.
